The tablet value is Amazon's Kindle Fire. It costs $199. It has a 7" display (iPad has 9.7" display) and runs on Android OS. It can do everything the iPad can do for $300 to $500 less, and there are several hundred thousand apps available for it. My second choice is the Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet, another 7" display, and runs on Android too. It's $329.o00. You can't go wrong with either of them.

Great post! My one problem is that I want to make sure it has apps like the ipod or android. Other tablets that use android cost twice as much. Does anyone know if this is a good value? Or can anyone suggest anything.

I agree, but I will just wait until there is 256 data encryption and WIFI speeds speed up. Just too slow for me. Security is very important.

I really think that cloud is the future. :)
