You wrote something that people could understand and made the subject intriguing for everyone. Really, great blog youve got here.

However, with the great amount of information available, there are some key design issues to consider if you want to use corporate dashboards for your business.

Blewis, Thanks for the headsup about Birst and link. I just looked at Birst's site and they appear to be a very good, economical solution. Noticed two verticals include insurance and finance, with a splattering of some other industries. It's difficult to evaluate a product from their website, they are now on my list in case I have a client need. Thanks. Tommy

I wanted to bring to your attention another Software as a Service (SaaS) BI company, Birst. Birst has the largest revenue base of all SaaS BI companies and some of the largest customers, including RBC Wealth Management, Securian, and Citrix. Birst won the 2010 Red Herring Global 100 Award, the 2009 TDWI Best Practices Award, and the 2009 Red Herring North America Award.

Birst is partnered with major software companies like Salesforce.com and RightNow, the latter of which OEMs the Birst solution as RightNow Enterprise Analytics. Birst is backed by leading venture firms Sequoia Capital and Hummer Winblad.

You can find out more about Birst and SaaS BI at www.birst.com
