COMMENTARY: That's a log of "magical". Jobs is doing it to me and other analysts who had predicted that the Apple iPad would never really make a huge impact. This does not appear to be the case.
If the 3 million figure represents sales to early adopters, which generally represents 10%-15% of total unit sales for a new product, then one can surmise that sales of the iPad could hit 20-30 million units, which is a pretty riduclous number. Let's just say that Jobs estimate of 10 million units is do-able. I opened my big mouth and estimated between 7-8 million iPads will be sold by year end.
