COMMENTARY: Harvard University has the most social media engaged student body of any university bar none. Although Harvard's student body numbers only 6,641, their rich history, world renouned alumni, including numerous Nobel Prize winners, and reputation as the arguably the pre-eminent academic institutition of higher learning in business, law, science and technology make them a hot bed of communication and discussion throughout the world. Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates two of the most well known non-graduating alum, give Harvard a certain cache, and many of Harvard's students have made it their life's quest to become the next Zuckerberg or Gates.
One of my favorite films is "The Paper Chase" (20th Century Fox 1973) starring Timothy Bottoms as "Hart," a first year Harvard Law student and John Houseman as "Professor Kingsfield," a notorious and legendary contracts law professor at the Harvard Law School. Lindsay Wagner plays "Susan," Hart's love interest. Susan also happens to be the daughter of Professor Kingsfield. The film combines just the right combination of light comedy and high-tension drama. The film does a great job of showing the pressures encountered by first-year law students at Harvard University. John Houseman won an Academy Award for Best Actor. Enjoy.
